| I started with just the Server+ ExamCram book and I suppose that is okay for getting the feet wet. I spent alot of hours studing in a local Barnes & Noble coffee cafe and ran over to the book stacks from time to time to pick up another book. Here's what I've learned about the other books out there.
ExamCram - is lightweight and has errors.
Microsoft's Server+ book - Sucks.
Sybex - was just okay, kinda disappointing really. I've used them in the past and usually their excellent.
Osborne - was okay.
McGraw Hill All-in-One - was quite good.
Server+ Bible was Pretty Good too.
New Riders was pretty much the best. It was organized pretty much from the exam Blueprint.
Bottomline however, is you will most likely now get everything you need to know for this exam from on book and you will need to rely on multiple resources to get the information you need, especially where you may actually be lacking in experience.
Make flash cards. Although people here say you need to pay attention to questions and not just spew out answers, having KNOWLEDGE is key. Review heavily and often. When at tricky question comes you will want to fall back on what you KNOW.
Take practice exams. cert21 is kinda weak but useful if you test often and heavily and make flash cards of the concepts you dont know. YOu will learn everything you have ever wanted to know about SCSI, Installation plans, Disaster Recovery, UPS, backup media and remote monitoring before you are through.
Best of luck.

| I recommend Exam Essentials from http://www.certify.com. I think it is a great perp for CompTIA tests. | |
