| I failed this exam 2 months ago with a 69%, passing score is 75%. This was the first exam I ever failed, and I really got me down, especially being out of $167.00 (cost of exam with voucher). But I told myself I would take it again and pass it, so I went on a mission. Here is what I used to study for this exam.
1. Server+ certification bible (read it two times)(preety good book)
2. Server+ for dummies (was o.k).
3. Server+ examprep (was o.k, it did mentions somethings in it that the certification bible did not have in it like Wake On Lan and Magic Packets).
4. Server+ examcram (probably a waste of time to read).
5. Cramsession server+ cram (Excellent resource, like everyone else has said, go through the links they have on the cramsession)
6. Examnotes server+ cram (read this guide also).
7. I also went through the pratice test that came with the Server+ certification bible about 5 times until I got 90's.
I thinks that it, I don't think I ever studied this hard for any of the microsoft exam I took (I am MCSE) or the other Comptia Exams I took. There is not to much out there for this exam, and you have to read a lot of different resources to get all the info this test covers, I seems that there is not one book out there that covers everything you need to know, maybe this exam has the authors puzzled to. Anyways, I want to take microsoft test 218, so I can get MSCA cert, dont really need it, but figure I do that before, started Cisco or Citrix certs.
