Server+ "So misleading, its freakin rediculous"

| Well besides 70-216, my next $200 will go into my FOURTH (thats right, FOURTH) attempt on this exam in the coming weeks. I am convinced that Im not to blame only by missing the exam with 71% - 74% all three times. Those who have taken this and failed it know exactly what im talking about misleading questions and not definitive answers. Im not giving up until i pass it, only to use it as spare toilet paper, because spending $800 on this test isnt worth it, but its worth it to me, because im just obsessed with passing it. Shame on Comptia for making this exam near impossible to pass.. just look at the materials for it that are out.. barely nothing. Ok im ending this post now before i break my monitor. | |

| I don't think CompTIA exams are misleading at all my friend. I have taken a few of them and I think they are pretty straight forward exams. They even have the courtesy of telling you what your score was, what the cut-off was and what objectives you suck in. I think CompTIA exams are just rouge memorization. Not much actually "thinking" involved, just regurgitating facts on a computer screen.
I think Microsoft's scoring policy sucks. I just failed a test and they won't even tell me my score or what the cut-off was. | |

Thanks for your post. Your comments help make me feel even more elite after having passed the Server+ beta which had even more questions than the "live" exam. They threw out the really bad questions before it got to you. We didn't have forums to surf. We didn't have Server+ books to study. Your post just reinforces the fact that I must really know this stuff. Thanks.

| As for the price, you should buy vouchers.
As for the test, I thought it was a great exam that really called upon the candidate to think and analyze and solve problems. When I walked out of the test center, if I had a hat I would have taken it off to COMPTIA. I wish all their tests were similar in construct. | |

Preposterous, I tell you.
