| Just a quick question. I am looking into studying and getting the Server+ cert and only have Mike Myers passport book. I have used his books for both the A+ and Network+ ones and found the books to be wonderful help. Has any in this forum used the passport for Server+. What were your likes/dislikes for this book? What other books would you reccomend for this. Thanks for your help in advance. | |

| I don't believe I have heard anyone mention the MM Cert. passport for Server+. Understand that Mike Myers doesn't write books anymore. He is the Editor. He sticks his name on the series of books counting on the popularity of his one (1) A+ book (4 editions in 4 years). There are Cert. passport books for many exams by a variety of authors. Stephen Bigelow is a very prolific writer (I counted 20 titles @ Barnes&Noble). He cranks out a lot of books.
I don't think you will find one book that will cover everything you need for this exam. Feel free to peruse this forum and see what others are using to study. There are quite a few posts praising or condemning a variety of resources. | |

| My personal advice would be to get the CompTIA exam objectives, cramsession and examnotes study guides, fire up your favorite search engine and start building your own personal data collection. There is an enormous amount of info on the web (free!) and you will discover volumes of info that ain't in the books. |
