I failed with a 61%, I had plenty of time left over after I was done with it, and took the last half hour to review my anwsers(maybe it wasnt such a good idea :P)

Well, I gotta study more for next time. At least CompTIA gives you the results and your weak points on the printed results.
This is a tough exam, and my major weak point was troubleshooting and problem determination 12/20 correct anwsers. Its funny how some of the questions were worded, but that isnt a excuse for my failure. In my opinion (not being bias since I did FAIL) the server+ exam is fair but tough...

In short, you do the exam, think you passed, and find out that you bombed!! I'll study harder and take that bad azz sob again, cause I wont let CompTIA win!!!

yeah I failed first time out too. Passed with better that 80 the second time out. I used the Server+ bible - read it through 5 times just to get finer points that I missed. I think the key is to analyze the problem and pick the most LOGICAL choice-not necessarily the one you would choose-but the most logical given the circumstances. Many of the questions had me saying "oh yeah, i've done that..." and I would jump to the answer. Read carefully as EACH WORD is weighted to affect the question. You have to answer quickly, as time is short, but you should re-read the question several times because I found (many times) that I missed a "not" or something like that.

Try again, and you WILL do it.

Best of luck!

It is a toughie, but that seems to make it more worthwhile once you earn it. Good luck on the next go.
