| I am reposting this post because the other poll was a little unfair. Some of the books were not out yet at the time most of us voted.
The books that I have read were
1The Server+ Certification Bible
2)Server+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide
All of the other books I reviewed in the book store.Of them the only one I like was the Server+ Certification Training Guide
Of all the books that I have read or reviewed the three I like the most in order were
1)The Server+ Certification Bible
2)Server+ Certification Training Guide
3)Server+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide

| I think you right on ace123. The two books you talk about. The server+ bible and the server+ certification training guide looks like the best two books out there. As of right now For the server+ exam. I’am planning to take this test sometime this month. | |

| I, too, liked the easy read and the thorough coverage in the Server+ Bible.
I also like the All-In-One guide for a couple of the chapters. It will be a great reference guide, but I found it a bit of a dull read, and the material covered was more excessive than necessary for the exam. Not that too much is bad, obviously, but it tended to make my head spin when I was trying to take in all the info presented.

| Very difficult to say.. | |

| I just did the Server+ test this morning. Got 80%, which was less than I find comfortable. The test was tough, and I wasn't adequately prepared.
As always, I suggest getting two books: one shallow (Dummies or Exam Cram) for easy reading, and one very deep book for reference.
I used All-in-One Server+ Certification Exam Guide (Stephen J. Bigelow), and Server+ Certification for Dummies (Ron Gilster and Mike Glencross).
Dummies was what it always is: a shallow book that's easy-to-read and has a fair sample test on CD. Dummies are always worth the money, but lack enough depth to guarantee a passing score.
All-in-One was far too much depth - over 600 pages with no guide as to what the test focuses on. OK as a reference, but not as a test prep. The sample exam lacked adequate explanations for the questions.
If I had to do it again, I'd have stayed with Dummies, but not All-in-One.

| Congrats!
I had the same feeling about the All-in-One being very in-depth, but it is a great reference.
