Afternoon all. I have a question for all of you... I recently achieved my A+ and Network+, and am starting on the Server+. Can anyone tell me how the Server+ test compares to like the network+?

thanks to all!

About twice as difficult. Server+ is A+ on steroids and does not have a direct comparison to Network+

I don't think I can quantify the difficulty level of Server+, but definitely agree with Azimuth's assessment. The Server+ is not a test to take lightly as compared to A+ and Network+. Test duration can be an impediment as you'll need to complete 80 questions in 1.5 hrs which is a minor irritant to some who like the luxury of completing a test and be able to review marked questions comfortably. I would definitely download the objectives from CompTIA's website if you already haven't done so. Here you go...http://www.comptia.org/certificatio.../objectives.asp

A+ has lots of materials to cover, but few questions to answer.

N+ is focus in the network area, but if you know nework, it is not bad.

Since, you already got A+ and N+, you are covered about 25% of the Server+. You only need to worry about the other 75%.

It is really all in the preperations, though. I did not do a good job of preping the Server+, I sqeeze the door, I mean the questions are fuzzy at times and needs the offical CompTia troubleshooting techniques...

Good luck on studying.
