| WANTED TO GIVE EVERYONE AN UPDATE ON HOW I DID--GOT POUNDED AND KICKED AND THROWN AWAY LIKE YESTERDAY'S TRASH!
THIS TEST IS NO JOKE AND THE WORST PART IS THERE ARE NO GOOD BOOKS OUT THERE FOR A NICE SOLID FOUNDATION--I USED THE SERVER+ MICROSOFT BOOK AND I DIDN'T FIND IT HELPFUL. I AM NOT GOING TO BLAME THE BOOK I AM GOING TO BLAME THE PEOPLE WHO PUT THIS EXAM TOGETHER--THE WORDING IS VERY CONFUSING!
WITH 80 QUESTIONS AND ONLY 90 MINUTES I THINK IT TOOK ME LONGER TO READ THE QUESTIONS JUST SO I CAN UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT BEFORE I CAN CHOOSE THE CORRECT ANSWER. LOTS OF QUESTIONS REGARDING BACK-UP SO FRESHEN UP ON THIS!
ALSO ONE MORE THING I WILL EVENTUALLY PASS THIS EXAM BUT IT WILL COST ME AN ARM AND LEG AND WHEN I DO I WILL GRAB,PUNCH,KICK AND THROW IT IN THE TRASH LIKE IT DID TO ME!!!

| Take the test objectives and/or cramsession study guide and do your own exhaustive research on the net. Take each topic and search for as much info as you can find. You will amass a great deal of material and you will learn a great deal.
You have the advantage of having seen the exam once. | |

I ALSO WANTED TO GIVE MORE INSIGHT ON THIS TEST. THIS TEST TO ME IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH SERVERS ALL DAY AND KNOW THE IN AND OUT BY HANDS-ON!!! I WISH I COULD HAVE THAT OPPORTUNITY BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE. I DON'T DO BACK-UP AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT, I DON'T DO ENVIROMENTAL EVALUATIONS, I DON'T DO DISASTER RECOVERY WHICH I THINK IT'S MOST OF THE TEST. IN MY OPINION I THINK THE HANDS ON PLAYS A CRUCIAL PART IN PASSING THIS EXAM--BUT HEY I CAN BE WRONG I AM JUST A BEGINNER AT THIS. THANKS AGAIN SUPERTECH. I WILL BE TAKING YOUR ADVICE--DO YOU HAVE ANY SITES YOU RECOMMEND? | |

| Sorry you didn't pass
I have never heard anything good about the Microsoft Press Sever+ Book.
Try the Sever+ Bible, it worked for me.
At least you know what to expect on the
exam next time you take it.
You might consider taking Network+ if you don't already have that to help get you familiar with basic fault tolerance (Raid levels) and what not.

| Don't get discouraged, just study a little more, try and find another book and go take that thing. I heard Transcender is good for this exam also Exam Essentials! | |

| Microsoft gives you 90 minutes for 50 questions and Server Plus gives you 90 minutes for 80 questions.Imagine that..... |
