Hello,

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I passed today with an 82%. The exam was fairly tough, but not impossible to pass. I used the following study materials:

1. Server+ Certification Bible

2. Server+ Certification Training Guide
(New Riders)

3. Test Yourself Server+ Certification
(Syngress)

4. Server+ Cramsession
(http://www.cramsession.com/)

5. Transcender Server+ Practice Exam
(http://www.transcender.com/)

Well that about covers it. In case you hadn't noticed, I tend to OVERstudy for my exams. Good luck to everyone studying for Server+!!! Next is Linux+

Was it really hard?? Were the questions fair?

Just wondering I am going to take it in about a month or so.

How would you rate transender?

The Transcender was excellent!!! If you use the Transcender properly and actually read "why" the answer was correct, you'll learn some extra stuff that the books don't cover. I read the Server+ Certification Bible cover-to-cover, skimmed through the Server+ book by New Riders, and drilled myself with all the free demo questions I could find on the Internet. I used the Transcender exams towards the end of my studies. I did quite well on the Transcender exams. I took that confidence with me to the exam room for the "real" exam and passed with no problem. The only problem with the "real" exam is that you'll want to answer certain questions based on YOUR experience.....everyone has their own way of doing things when it comes to Server maintenance. You have to remember to answer the questions based on what you've learned from your studies COMBINED with your "real world" experience. Just like any exam, study hard and you'll do well......Good luck on your exam, you can do it!!!
