I took this test about a month ago. I also had purchased the measure up study questions which I was averaging about 98% on all 200 questions, plus I have alot of server experience. The entire exam questions were drawn on my experience, but because I do not work in the datacenter anymore, and because I think the studying I did was not in the proper areas I only scored 70%. In my view, experience is wonderful, but if you study the wrong areas it may or may not help. Any suggestions?
PS. I am not whining, I just want to know some better study options.

Hi;

This reply is not about the Server+ test as I'm still studying for it. I noticed that you're working on the PMP certification. My question is about that.

Everywhere I've looked, it appears that you can't work towards it unless you have at least 750 hrs of certified project management. Was that the same for you, or is there a different way that you know of?

Any input would be appreciated.

Tks

Is 7500 hours not 750. And that is only if you do not have a BS degree. www.pmi.org is a good place to look for info. ESI International who teaches a PMP track mapped the PMBOK specializing in IT stuff is also a great place to look I think it is www.esi-intl.com but do not know off the top.

I don't know about that, but it is no picnic. CISSP is equally as hard and I think CCIE would be even harder.

Sorry Timmy what I meant to type was hardest comptia cert. Probably the most underestimated new certification. I totally agree that CISSP and especially CCIE would be harder. I already failed the CCIE written and I am preparing to write it again soon.

For the Comptia tests, I've always found the ExamCram books good. The online tests are good too.
