The best part about studying for the Server+ exam was that it brought back alot of A+ material that was a little foggy. What do you guys think? Share your experience.

Haven't taken it yet, but it looks like that would be one of the better things about it. More HW oriented and that is the part of the A+ that I liked the best.

I used the MS Press Server+ Training Kit and the All-in-one Server+ book. I did'nt think the all in one book was very good but MS Press has definetly impressed me with their version. I think the biggest help was the study guides on cramsession and examnotes. The links here are on examnotes were very helpful to.

The exam is definetly harder then any comptia exam I have taken so far. If you study a good book and really focus on whats on the various study guides I mentioned you should be OK. The only major problem I have with some of the questions is that they are to vague. Some of them I guessed because they don't give you enough info to choose your answer. There is alot of scsi I think I had 15 or more. Also raid.

(know your scsi speeds and lengths inside and out)

GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!
