Don't buy the Sybex book (I know)

| Listen up and listen good. The Sybex book is absolutely aweful. There is not a single redeeming quality about it. It contradicts itself, has inacurracies, and covers maybe 50% of the exam. It is a total waste of money. I read the entire thing and started second guessing what I knew to be true for no reason. Bottom line, don't buy it.
On a lighter note, I still passed! Hehe, I got a 79. Ain't great, but I guess thats tribute to my studying materials. And that does it for my CompTIA exams. It's time to move on to the Cisco Exams. Later all.

| congrats well done! how is the test like was it hard or easy? second do you think i should wait on all in one server+ book to come out in two weeks or wait to the end of this month. there will be a couple of server+ books out buy then. | |

| The test was pretty difficult. A tad tougher than Network+. There are several books available. Check out www.amazon.com. Just stay away from the cursed Sybex book. Everyone else who wrote a review about it hated it almost as much as me.
Just make sure you know all there is to know about disaster recovery, server room procedures/etiquette, and RAID. Those were the big topics. |
