| I have built a couple of sites with Front Page, and until recently I never knew that there was a cert for it. I would like to pursue a cert, but I have not seen any jobs for MCP+SB anywhere. How hireable would I be with the cert, and 2+ yrs exp? Most "webmaster" jobs require that you build from scratch, not be a wysiwyg guru.Any suggestions? | |

| I think there are a lot of companies out there who still use Front Page (even if they don't admit to it), for intranets or small web sites. However, it's not typically something they advertise for - I think they tend to look inside the company and grab somebody to be the defacto Front Page guru.
I don't think the cert would hurt you at all, but I don't think it would be the complete answer. If you were to supplement that with Front Page 2000 knowledge (it's a lot different then 98), and take a stab at the HTML, possibly some design work, I think you'd be in good shape for several jobs. If you are that comfortable in the Front Page environment, it shouldn't be hard for you to learn the HTML behind it.
