i have created an image file .gz extension which is approximately 1.4GB (dual boot win2k and RH9) is there a way of remotely sending the image to a client to a windows system as he remainder of systems on my network are all on windows 9x.

Tell us more precisely what you want to do. Allow the Windows machines to access the file? You could do that with Samba.

what i want to do is boot the client to windows 9x and from the linux server remotey send the image to that machine without visiting the 9x computer.
