nope, haven't try yoper, read on most of its stuff tho. things that concern me so far is

1:
yoper
Site Admin

You haven't missed anything. In the next release we are going to add an advanced install option, which is agoing to include this multipartitioning as an option. In the last releases we wanted to keep as close as possible to M$ and as you know M$ also installs only on 1 parition C:/.

and 2.
So far Yoper has turned out to be very nice and extremely fast, with Mandrake 9.1 my Celeron 466 (128 Mb of Ram) ran very slow and I though that I would need to buy a new computer. With yoper though my computer is going well over 5-10 times faster.

heh... 5-10 times faster... what can I say, I am a skeptic

anyway, through my search I poke my noises around a lot of places and I came across this site

pretty neat page, some interesting stuff, easy read to recommend to new users
http://articles.linmagau.org/index.php

it has interesting articles like
http://articles.linmagau.org/module...rtid=114&page=1

Distro Day (Measuring the benefits of the Gentoo approach)
http://articles.linmagau.org/module...rtid=227&page=1

Crash recovery, what to do etc... X die on you... now what? not the power button!
http://articles.linmagau.org/module...rtid=236&page=1

going through the previous editions.
http://articles.linmagau.org/module...rtid=216&page=1

haha I just read this
"So why dont women go to linux meetings? I asked one guy if women ever came to the LUG and he said he thinks he saw a woman once."

hahaha so true, you just have to smile at that

and oh, I find this interesting
http://articles.linmagau.org/module...rtid=324&page=1

just a sampling of various articles on that site I find either
1. interesting and fun.
2. may be of interest to ppl, casusal users etc... to demonstrate on some light reading can help you some day. like x crashes, how to do that aren't always transparent to new users.
