| I just bought the RedHat 9 Linux Bible and
it's pretty good but a little pricey. If you see it around give it a look. It includes RH 9 too in case you don't feel like downloading it. | |

| Free is good. Cheap ain't bad either. And you can get one and two year old IT books on Ebay pretty cheap. I've scored Sybex and M$ Press books for between $10 and $20 including shipping. Although it's certainly possible to achieve your goals entirely with electronic documentation, I still like old fashioned paper books that you can read anywhere. And after you pass your exam they are great to put under the corner of the sofa when you break a leg off and can't afford to buy new furniture because nobody is hiring in IT.
