I have a old computer 350Mhz and two 2 Gig hard drives but there is no operation system at all. I put the first linux disk in and it told me to insert a boot disk.

What do I do?!?!

Do you mean you booted off the first CD?

No, it's not booting off the Cd. It's looking for the Cd but can't find it. I got my red hat from http://www.linuxiso.org/ is there someting i need to do before I burned the CD?

Is your system capable of booting off the CD (did you set it to boot from the CD-ROM in the BIOS?). If not, you will need to start the install with a boot floppy disk.

Read this

That tells you how to make one from within windows. Just boot off that disk.

And since you are new I highly recommend you read The Red Hat Linux Manuals. Any question you may have will more than likely be answered in there. And there are nice pretty PDFs that you can print out and make a book for yourself.
