i'm just tinkering with linux at the moment and was wondering if there was a way to centralize users desktop and start menus's like you can with windows.

ie if one group of users log in they get a desktop/start menu set up for that group

and another group log in they get different settings.

probably only going to be using kde to do this but might also use gnome

oh yes i'm running redhat 9 as well!
