| I have noticed that he hasn't posted or replied to any Linux or other threads in quite a while or has he given up on I.T. all together. If its the later case well then I don't blame him considering the current bleak I.T. prospect. | |

Now bleak job outlooks are bank tellers,
Store cashiers, etc. Everyone now is doing online shopping and banking. Which means more databases on servers on networks. I know that wasn't your question just wanted to respond to that comment. Things will get better. | |

| Didn't his last posts say he was working on a PhD? Depending on what it is in he could be in deep reasearch or deep depression. Either one would cause him to stop posting. | |

| I believe he had some dispute with someone or some people over the IRAQ war and left on bad terms. At least I think that's what happened. | |

| I've exchanged a few emails with him since he left. Basically, he was ticked off that he was flamed in some of the more heated discussions. He did tell me that he plans to come back at some point in the future, although he didn't specify when. | |
