| hey dude,
can you please do me a favour and paste the contents of your /etc/rc.d/rc3.d file? i need to make one and just need a few pointers

| It's actually a directory...not a file. The chkconfig utility can create these symlinks. See if you have that. RedHat has it. Anyway, here is mine (these are links):

You know how these work right? They are pointers to /etc/init.d/service. The ones that start with 'S' start a service, ones that start with 'K' stop a service. Since this is rc3, these will run in run level 3 (command line). | |
