| me? I dunno... 2003-12-16, 10:50 am |
| I get a gui error message
'Nautilus has no installed viewer capable of displaying "/etc/lilo.conf.anaconda"
I have managed to unpack and install software but I'm not sure what the best viewer option would be. I am guessing I would just download it from one of the linux sites and then install?
suggestions?
I can look at the file by typing view /etc/lilo.conf.anaconda also viM appears to be functional and does open from a command line | |

| is gedit installed properly? nautilus will by default try to open files with gedit, which is the default editor for gnome. this error should only occur if you start gnome, though. | |

| Look on your Linux cds and install gedit . . . it should have been installed by default. or you can change the default file viewer for gnome in the control center i think. |
