| Let's go greping! Going to make this one slightly more challenging.
In your home directory, there is a file named File1. Here are the words it contains:
Linux
Windows
Book1
Book2
Notes
Porn
You execute the following command: grep -vi LINUX File1 Which word(s) would that grep command display?
a. Linux
b. LINUX
c. Windows, Book1, Book2, Notes, Porn
d. Book1 Book2, Porn, Notes
e. Linux, LINUX, Windows, Book1, Book2, Notes
f. None of the above. | |

| C. The -i flag tells grep to ignore the case and the v flag tells grep to select only non-matching lines, the result being that only "Linux" is eliminated from the output. | |

| I want more people to attempt to answer before I give out the answer! Remember, you can always (and easily) look it up if you don't know off the top of your head. | |

| Thanks for the question, but she's right...

| Since it appears noone else wants to attempt to answer, the answer is C for the reason papiya said.
And Tarzanboy, I didn't mean she was wrong...I just wanted others to try to answer it as well. Think you misunderstood me. | |

| Actually I meant that she snatched the pebble from your hand a little too quickly, thus no one else tried answering it.
Onto the next question...
Cheers,
