Mandrake Linux 9.2 install trashing CD-ROM drives

| heh that's hillarious...
and the defense of it by zealots is too...
anything wrong, throw standard compliance around and bask in their own l33tness...
how about the testing process touted by linux advocates? about how this community effort is so much better than closed microsoft testing... which they always bash as incompetent?
letting this slide by, either knowingly and not care and iwthout warning because it is LG's fault for not complying with standard or simply not know how it would react with drives from a large manufacturer...
that one person is right, if this had been MS, they would be talking about class action suit or something now... if I were MS, I would buy a lot of mandrake, give it to employee free, have it nuke their drive, and file suit agianst mandrake to put it out of business... they are in deep sh*t already, this will surely put them over...
this is hillarious... I am saving this for when some linux zealot bash windows unfairly, man, can't argue with it at all... anyway you look at it, no matter whose fault it really is, this just stink up the room  | |

This just shows you how powerful Linux really is. You'd never get Windows to be able to trash your hardware.  |
