On Monday, September 22, Red Hat sent out an announcement about the future direction of Red Hat Linux: it will be merged with Fedora Linux.

No details on what will happen to the RCHE & RHCT certs. Stay tuned...

It looks like they are going to use the Fedora name. At least that is what I gathered from redhat's site.

I think that will be a marketing blunder. Fedora sounds like a French hat. Redhat on the other hand... Sounds like a French hat???? Hmmmm. Well I still like RedHat better.

Maybe Dick Tracy was one of their favorite movies. That would mean a yellow Fedora. Nahh Symantec already has yellow suits.

After rereading it, it looks like fedora is just a side project.
