| i don't know anything about Linux, and i was wondering if there is a manual that explains how to install/configure linux, with pictures.

Also, the beauty of Linux is it's extremely well documented. Be sure to check out http://www.linuxlinks.com/
And probably my favorite Linux/help/tutorial site is http://www.linuxjunior.org. They have "plain english" tutorials, a chat room (that I sometimes visit), and a very nice message board where people answer your beginner to advanced questions.
Don't be afraid to ask anything here - no matter how basic it is. | |

| Agreed. RH is pretty easy to deal with, so you probably won't need tha manual for the install. It installs easier than Windows. But make sure you have a basic knowledge of your hardware as it often comes in handy . . . how much video RAM, posrt your modem is on, scan frequency and so on. They might come in handy. Write down any error messages you get and post them here. |
