| OK, I downloaded the monster image files for the latest red hat off their FTP site and burned the 2 images on cd's.
My question is how do I get the file unzipped? The image files aren'y bootable so I need to do something in order to get them to execute and install just not sure what? If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Thanks,

| The image files ARE bootable. You don't extract ISO files here. What you do is in your BIOS set it to boot from CD. Put CD #1 in your drive and it will boot from that CD. | |

| Did you burn the CDs as a bootable ISO disk? I know EasyCD Creator 5 gives you an option to burn a CD as a bootable disk. If you didn't choose this option, the disk will not boot. (I also believe Nero's burning software also offers the option to make a bootable CD)

| I use Nero to make my CD's and in there you click on File then Burn Image. It will show a browse window select the directory that has the ISO in it and select the ISO file. and burn...

| Make sure you create CDs from these images and don't just copy the ISO images the CDs. Once you're finished you should see a directory structure on the CD, not a single ISO file. | |

| I used Easy CD Creator 5 and chose the bootable Cd option. The Cd burned just fine but I dont see a directory in there. I burned one file the ISO image file after I burned it the cd now contains 2 files (BOOTCAT and BOOTIMAGE) but no directory tree. Any help here is appreciated.
