| KDE 3 has just been released. I got the CD yesterday and will try the install out this weekend. Anybody have any tips? Has anyone tried it out yet? | |

| I haven't tried it out yet. Let us know what you think of it. | |

| OK, I want to ry it out on a test machine first, as whenever I have had Linux problems in the past, it usually seems to have been related to configuring or setting up X. i'll post whatever happens. Maybe this time I will remember to back up my files before trying any of this stuff. :S | |

| Didn't work so well. I tried uninstalling the old KDE libraries and stuff and then recompiling the new KDE 3 code from the source but I always seemd to get these error messages, so I reinstalled KDE 2 and will try again later. | |
