Linux is only going to get bigger and more visible. Ibm is such a linux hungry company and they are prefering it over unix.
Ibm's ceo even dressed up as a penguin in one of their big meetings.

Linux may not take over the desktop world, but it will gain more on the server and enterprise level without any doubt. HP is also such a huge enterprise that is making linux their choice. Their x1000 n x2000 systems are loaded with linux and ready to use.
Google, Etrade run linux servers/systems and it shows how far linux has come and how it's future shines bright and MS is going to get stumped on.
