XP and Linux in PC

| A PC is running on RH linux.
Can someone tell me how do I due boot with Win XP!

| So RedHat's already loaded and you don't want to reload? In that case:
1. Free up enough unallocated space on your harddrive for XP.
2. Make a working LILO boot disk if you don't already have one.
3. Start the XP installation process and create XP's partition(s).
4. Boot from the LILO disk, restore LILO to the MBR and if necessary add an entry for XP in lilo.conf.
I haven't tried loading Winblows after *nix was already running before but it seems like this should work. | |

Is there a site defined all the step and procedure?
I don't want to spend too much of time to reinstall! Even that is how we learn, but something just to avoid too much of format.
The problem is last step!
I boot with Linux Startup dics, then ..? I hope it auto pick up the OS from the Linux Menu..

| Once you boot from the LILO floppy log in as root or su and type "lilo" to restore LILO to the mbr. At this point the mbr is the same as it was before you installed Windows and you only need to add Windows to the boot options by editing lilo.conf or using whatever GUI may have come with your distro for accomplishing the same thing. If you're not sure what to do with lilo.conf try searching for it at www.linuxdoc.org or look through the man pages. | |

| Before you check out that link, install XP on one partition and leave about 2-3 gigs unallocated for installing *nix on.

| The only problem I had since my last install with RH 6.2 and SUSE is the lilo that keep mess me up..
I hope XP is better. I learned from past error and I make shall get all the information before I do it again. | |
