| I am looking for a site where I can find some SAIR practise exams and studyguides I can use to prepare for the exams. Any suggestions where I can get it. I am also looking for CBT's like Boson, Beachfront or any other exam sims I can use to oprepare. I have a lot of material for CISSP, like Boson and Beachfront and a lot of eBooks, and a lot of MCSE and CISCO material I am willing to trade for material for SAIR. | |

| Don't you know that asking for braindumps is bad here?
Do you got the "Sair Linux and GNU Certified Administrator All-in-One Exam Guide"? I saw this book at a local discount bookstore for really cheap (like 20 bucks). I almost considered buying this one just as a Linux reference.

| I've found very little information on the SAIR exams on the Net. There's the all-in-one book and there's some books that SAIR used to publish floating out there. Try eBay, you might get lucky. The only book I've heard of anyone finding anymore is the book over Installation and Configuration (which incidentally, I'm going to try to take this week). | |

| You can go to SAIR's site, linuxcertification.com and pick them up... There are books for all the exams and some more are being made by Thomson and LinuxPG.. See the other thread about SAIR. As for practice exams, I think cert21.com has them.

| Cert21 has LPI and RHCE, but not SAIR. Yeah, the SAIR site has some online quizes (ten sample questions for each test) but I've been told they're nothing like the actual questions on the exams. I guess I'll find out Friday. | |

| Well, I have the LCP via the Installation and Configuration and those sample questions were exactly like the exam. Don't know about the others. Really, the questions on the Linux+, that actaully had to do with Linux and not Hardware, were quite similar to the Sair questions. Sair may have been slightly more advanced. If you are proficient in the basics of linux then you will be able to pass Installation and Config without a problem, I think...

I did a Google search & signed up for the newsletters off the sights I found on that search. That was a month ago & I just burnt a disk full of the stuff. There are some good materials out there.
All the materials are teaching you the same thing. RHCE & SAIR seem to be the most detailed, but Linux is Linux.
http://endor.clublinux.org/RHCE.html.
this is the most detailed study guide I've found.
Here is a link to a free Linux course.

IBM has a fairly good downloadable course for free. www.ibm.com/developerworks

I've only purchased 2 books & 2 CD's & all the rest I've downloaded. Just follow the study guide & do a document search for the specific topic & you'll find a plethora of documentation on the internet.

| Well, I got 70% but passing was 74%.
I thought most of the questions were pretty straight forward, but some of them just left me baffled as to why anyone would actually do what the scenario was. I guess I should be used to it by now because MS exams are loaded with that stuff.
