I'm really new to the whole UNIX scene so please bare with me. I going to be installing Red Hat on a spare PC I have and was wondering where to go from there?? I'm a little confused what to do once I install it. There's got to be a list of commands that I could pratice right?? What should I start with? I know these sound like dumb questions but some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend getting "Running Linux" or some other Linux book and going through that. There are a lot of good tutorials at linuxnewbie.org. I think a good goal to start out with is making Linux your desktop. You'll learn a lot about it just by installing the necessary apps and getting your hardware working.

"Linux in nutshell" is a very good general Linux book...

I agree with Kasor, Linux in a Nutshell is very good.
