rdesktop is a Windows NT/2000 Terminal client for *nix. According to the docs Windows 2000 isn't supported, but I was able to connect to a Windows 2000 Terminal Server without any trouble. Once it's installed you only need to type "rdesktop serverIPAddress" to start the terminal client. It's in FreeBSD's ports collection, so you're running that a simple "make install" will complete the setup.
