We have just added the exam notes for the Linux+ exam and will be adding Linux+ practice exam to Cert21.com later this month.

Should I create a separate forum for the Linux+ exam under the CompTIA forums or should we just use this forum for all Linux exams?

Given the general apathy towards Linux+ displayed so far on this forum, I would say a seperate forum would be pointless.
You could stick it under "other CompTIA certs" so people would have a place to ask "which book to study?..."

I tend to agree. The Linux +, LPI and SAIR certs are all very much alike . . . Chester has done this at CE and I don't see where splitting up the discussion has helped much. It's not like the A+ or i-Net+, which have fairly distinctive and limited scopes between the tests.

I wouldn't suggest doing this right now. The traffic to the Linux forum is light enough as it is. Maybee in the future if the Linux forum's postings pick up a lot it would be a good idea though.
