The new term of "Basic Linux Training" has just began today. You can register for the e-course at:

http://basiclinux.hypermart.net/

and yes, it is FREE. This is mainly meant for newbies and it may be a good starting place for those new to Linux who are considering pursuing some Linux or UNIX certifications at some point in the future. If you stick with it, it will take you from being a total newbie to a fully competent Linux user.

The course requires a good bit of online reading and you will have to subscribe to a mailing list via www.topica.com (however, you can choose to read the messages on the web rather than delivered to your email add if you wish). Weekly IRC sessions are held on Sunday at irc.debian.org in the room #BLT.

Hope this helps someone.

koii baath nahii, bhaii. This is a really good course. I usually register for them each new term to try to help people out, it's where I first got started with my Linux stuff, so if interetsed, I am sure it will be of some use to you. Best of luck!
