Hey all ,

In redhat is it possible to delay or change the loading of network.

Yes, go into your /etc/inittab file and configure the services that you want started up at startup time. Also look at your /etc/inet.d file or your /etc/xinet.d file if you have one and comment out the services that you don't want started up or those which you want to start up manually. The man and GNU info pages should tell you all you need to know about how to use these files, but they are pretty straightforward.
