Hi,

How am I going to set a variable $LFS to be read by Linux as /mnt/hda5?

Ex. I have to run this command: cp inittab $LFS/etc I actually mean: cp /mnt/hda5/etc

I depends on the shell you're using. In the sh family you do

LFS=/mnt/hda5
