On the heels of IBM`s intention to replace AIX with Linux on the RS6000 boxes (which are frickin awesome machines)and the solution to revamping OS/390 mainframe computing with Linux comes.....

That's great! Having a big name like IBM supporting them is exactly what the Samba project needs.

I didn't realize that 2.2 was out already. The new winbindd daemon looks like it could be very usefull for heterogenous Windows/*nix networks.
