| Would it be worth it to upgrade to 7.2 now that it's out. I have 7.1. Main thing that's in 7.2 is the ext3 file system. | |

Well, having a journaling filesystem like ext3 makes your box more 'leet, but performance wise there isn't that much of a difference unless you have power outages all the time and no UPS.
I would upgrade just because I have to have the latest version of everything. My advice - if you have a fast 'net connection and a CD burner, go for it, if you have to pay for it, don't bother. Ext3 can be implemented on 7.1; it's just not used by default. | |

| I wouldn't do it.
Many admin already have difficult time to maintain it.
The last I used is 7.0! My boss don't want to hire and send tech to school to learn more about RH. | |

| .. send a tech to school to learn more about rh .. this isnt the windows world .. its not like a major upgrade, its a logical upgrade of packages and core components.. i use rh7.1 with a journaling filesystem XFS, its a modified version from SGI, im happy with it, you could jus update ur current software, u dont need to download new iso's, u can get the latest kernel and have support for reiser, ext3 (not a true journaling fs), xfs, and all that, .. this is not the windows world people=)
