Im confronted with the problem of A: having to deal with NT servers and B: needing a select few Windows apps.

Ive been working with this product...
www.hob.de/www_us/produkte/connect/jwt.htm

It allows me to control (as if I were at the console) an NT server from Solid ground (aka *nix) Its quite fun.The applet loads through a browser and wha la.VNC has not been as graceful or fun

Major downside...requires IIS services

I keep a couple NT5 servers up at home (for testing/learning...neccessary evil for now at least )My printers are not to *nix friendly so I IP print to them.So this very nice stable program allows me,you another windows workaround.

Anyhow I just wanted to put this out there as another solution to the world in which we live in.

ccie..have you had any dealings with the Linux TS project?

Hey, I know the feeling. I administered an NT network for a little over a year. Administering NT's much better if you can do it from within a real OS.

This looks like an interesting app. I've never dealt with it but I have used rconsole (a terminal services client) and vnc before.
