Hi,

Where can I get some free Linux training materials online. I'd like to start free, and supplement what I don't know/can't find online by purchasing the apporpriate reading materials at that point.

Thanks.

One of my favorite Linux sites is http://linuxnewbie.org they have a lot of how to files that are very easy to follow. Their message board is a good resource too.

The most important resource if you don't already know about it is the man (short for manual) pages. These pages contain a huge amount of documentation. To learn about them type "man man" at the command prompt.
