Here is a good link for new Linux users. There is a site hosted by Caldera that lists international Linux user's groups. Might be of some use to some people.

Are you currently a memeber of a Linux users group?

And if so, how would you rate your experience of being a member with it?

Yes, I am a member of the Baton Rouge Linux User's Group. I find it very helpful in general. Someone who had mroe experience than you at Linux is always a big help when touring a strange OS. the people are generally friendly and like Linux, so that any questions that one might have are usually answered quickly and friendly, and since you generally get more than one response you can generally get an idea of how accurate they are.
