Does anybody know when CompTIA's Linux+ certification is supposed to be out/ready? I read about it on CompTIA's sight, but can't find it there anymore.

A good place to start would be with SAIR's Linux/GNU Level 1 cert. SAIR was one of the first backers of Linux+ and I'm sure will have a lot of input into the content of the exam. For this cert there is a good book published by Wiley and written by Maginnis. You can also check out the knowledge matrix on SAIR's site at www.linuxcertification.org
