| Its people like you who indulge in cheating that cause the value of certifications to be dimunished on a daily basis.
My help to you is sincere advise. Buy a book, read and pass. Dont depend on actual questions or unfair means that put the hard work of others to depreciate because of people like u.

| Thats really cute advice vcr "buy a book, read and pass" - Have u tried it Yourself ??
It sounds like u can give an advice but u have no idea what these exams are about -->
I can read a book 10 times and I bet my XXX that it is still not enough, (and I guess in 1z0-031 and 9i dba track) I can do STS and ILT for couple of times but as it sounds (Basic+Mastery requirements) that even this migth not be enough.
So unless u know what is it like to study for DBA exams without having any previous working knowledge (how the hell im suppose to get a job if I dont have certification??)
dont give such a "brilliant sincere advices"
My respect to u of course if you have passed Oracle DBA track without experience and based only on book-knowledge (which i seriously doubt)

| Margus,
How long have you been in the IT industry?
Do you know how much credibility Certs have today?
Are you sure you could get a job with a Cert??
My advise to you is dont butt into others conversations. Or you might find your butt missing.(Joking).
Yes I have passed my exams after putting in 18hour days and spending money on training. I attended a official Oracle Authorized training.Same goes for Microsoft and ERP.
Yes I challenge you, I can read a manual head to foot and reproduce the juice from my memory.(I did not do it for your respect or anyones).(If you eat , its for your hunger, not others').
I spent tons of money getting certs , then I discovered the value so diluted with braindumps and real questions being exchanged openly.
I or you or noone is responsible for the state of the Certification or IT industry as it is today. The point I was trying to discourage was openly soliciting unfair means to pass.
Its not going to help you or me or the individual in question in the long run or the industry for that matter.
So if you are offended , please be. After a month you will find two more additions to my academic profile. Reading a 1000 page book+two other manuals without depending on any other means for it.
Hey! wait a minute, I gotta be reading. What am I getting into?? Dont peep into others bedrooms my friend.I appreciate freedom of expression.Nothing personal.
Regards

| bla-bla-bla (Im so smart and great)
Nice to see how u admire your own work..
dont u think thats what all guys do who are going for certs? of course u dont...
I put also tons of money and time to courses, books, etc
but the bottomline is that most people do that and some people dont like to take exams over and over again so thats why u have braindumps to get an idea whats "real exam" is about..
Of course soetimes book 70$ & course 500$ & practice exam 100$ is enough to pass exam 130$ avg (for example A+) but other times all hard work and u still fail..
Talking about braindumps - they are similar to practice exams except u dont have to pay for them and definately they can be more helpful
Go ahead, if you are so smart that u only need "non-cheating" materials to pass.. evry exam at first time, but I dont have time or money for failing one!!

| Nothing personal my friend to be so pissed. Enjoy a good argument and get on with the work.
I never said I am smart.I dont expect anyone to comment about anothers abilities.
I understand the fear of failing makes other go for whatever means that are required to pass.
I know its tough on the purse. We are all in the same boat.
All I was trying to say was dont demean the hard work of others by openly soliciting material.
I believe forums are monitored by the companies which conduct certifications.
In industry most of the certs have lost their value significantly.
So look at the positive side of my advise.
Cheer up Magius.

| Margus,
there is a difference between practise exams and braindumps.
Practise exams will help you to understand the materials better and to get a deeper insight which "correlations" are important for the tests.
Braindumps are most time rubbish. People note down some questions and their supposed answers during their tests. Once a guy asked me to correct a braindump he got. It was really annoying - because these "masterpiece of help" was full of mistakes - not only the answers where incorrect, also the questions!! It would have been impossible to pass the test with this dump.
It has nothing to do with practise dumping 80-100 questions 1 or 2 days before the exam. The test itself has nothing to do with practise.
Margus, don't panic because of the test. If you worked through your materials properly it can be mastered.
And it is not a shame failing an exam! Would you feel better if you passed only because you have seen most of the questions and answers before in a braindump? Do you think this is the practise employers are asking for?
I wish you the very best for your exam!
Good luck! | |

| You are absolutely rigth about some things -
Practice exams usually help to understand the concepts behind the questions, but not always
(good example I guess would be 70-100
I havent taken it yet but as far feedback from forums goes - reading the book&transcender isnt enough for passing)
But i dont agree to "braindumps are most time rubbish." If u reasonably look at them they migth be this little extra % which will help u pass..
For example when I took my 1st cert exam (1z0-001) I did read book, sts and training-course; and couple of days b4 I decided to look @ some braindumps which helped me a lot - I passed by 41 (39 is pass-score)
Well You are rigth that u feel much better if u pass only because of Your brilliance but Im saying that looking some braindumps to implement your preparement is always a good thing. Even most my teachers give that suggestion to students (though "legally they shouldn't). And even if braindumps have mistakes - (of course if you have done the hard work studying) You should be able to different the pearls from rubbish! I have seen braindumps where people even give explanations (ur choice to believe it or not)
The Point is that in a situation where exams go more difficult (based on "experience") and practice exams isnt even similar to Real Exam, (books full of mistakes) You need to get an idea what the exam is alike!
thats the never-ending circle - which You need b4: certification or practice on the job? (cant have one without another)

| vcr,
Of course the "value" of certs goes down for cert-maker (since not so many people fail because of braindumps) but my point-of-view is not based on only braindumps -
Hard work is always the first thing to do (books, courses, sts) but braindumps migth be a necessary implement some of us (like me who gets always confused with real-exam questions). Not always is the questions about your knowledge; but sometimes they will try to trick You...
Your certification will help You to get a job but Your real abilities will let You stay there!
