Hello Friends,
This is Pallavi and I have currently enrolled for Oracle8I DBA Introduction to PL/SQL programming exam. I have enough knowledge of this topic, I have done the similar course during my graduation and I do have hands on experince also. I want to give this exam within 20 days...is it possible to finish successfuly? Can you tell me what tools I shall be using viz. Books, practice exams, practice questions, simulators.
I do have Oracle guide for the same exam but I do not have pracice questions. I can buy the book if it contains just the practice questions. Can anybody suggest me books name and related sites.
Thank you very much.

I just passed the Oracle 9i SQL exam. I simply read the Sybex book by Biju Thomas and the Couchman book by Oracle Press.

Hi Pallavi,

if you made the course and had hands on practise it will be quite easy for you to pass the exam.

IMHO you don't need any additional books, buy STS practise questions via www.selftestsoftware.com - they help to become familar with the "style" of questions and a feeling how the real exam is. Additionally you get the answers of all questions and can fill up some "gaps" easily.

Feel free to ask/discuss questions here - we all try to help.

Hello:
I also took the course and used the sybex and couchman books. I only got a 33 on
my exam. I found a alot of blocks of PL/SQL
code. I was expecting more of the questions from the self test software. I'm thinking I
need to study more PL/SQL. Any tips
