| I'm interesting to buy a 1Z0-032 Oracle 9i Fundumentals II. Which book is better? Oracle Press or Sybex? | |

| Hi all,
I would also like to know which book is better for DBA funda II?
Sybex or Osborne.

| Hi guys,
The sybex books are very good in my opinion although they do have errors and some sections are not as well covered as they should be.
The Oracle press books should have all the answers but I find they take longer to read and I'm not sure if they come with a CD of practice exams and chapter tests as Sybex does.
Personally I use Sybex but I also use a variety of other books including Oracle Press to cross reference any queries.
Most other people say the practice exams from selftestsoftware.com are really good but I still think they are a bit expensive.
Good Luck

| I pretty much agree with Nick, for the most part.
I have both , plus others.
Oracle press is superior, hands down for accurate content. But as in most vendors materials like M$, Oracke is quite verbose, almost to a fault. But it is the best out there. I also found a few errors in Sybex.
I have several of the Oracle University Student Kits, and they all have the related software with them, but no "Study question/test engine CD".
I always use more than one reference text to study. I never rely on only one. It just hasn't worked for me to do so.
Selftest & Transcenders is what I use for test engines. They are about the best I have found. In this area, you definately get what you pay for.
