| It's not a matter of which is better, but which can you do or want to do?! They are two totally different things - once administration and one is development, so you choose which you are best at or capable of doing. If you think you can do both, then just pick one and go for it. Most Oracle jobs (for both DBA and developer positions)require experience, so neither cert will prove to be an advantage one way or another without experience. So where do you get the experience? Start out doing something else and hope to be moved on some Oracle project I think is the only way to do it. |
