I took 1z0-121 instead of 131 and plan to take 132 in next few weeks to get the OCP. From what i have heard, 121 is easier than 131 and STS for 121 r more like real test than for 131. On my 121 test almost 40 questions were from STS. i got 55/60 and finished in 45 min mainly because of sismilar questions from STS and on the real test. Although test content for 121 and 131 r same, i believe the pool of questions for 131 is harder than 121. For certification purpose it does not matter if u take 121 or 131 and then u can take 132 to finish off.
Beside STS i used the Oracle Student Guide for 121 which was equally helpful and complimented the STS. They were worth the money i spend on them. I had the Couchman and Allen books but did not used them for 121 at all. Keep in mind for 131 u need 45/60 to pass and for 121 46/50.

Hope this helps. Good Luck
