I cleared 1Z0-001.scored 51 out of 57.

is it sufficient to study only books or u need to practice sql,pl/sql on some scott's database?

| I used the Oracle Press Application Developer Exam Guide to study for the 101 Program Units exam. (also contains study material for the PL/SQL Intro. exam).
You definitely need to practice and practice some more!! I will give you a better understanding of how everything is working. I found a lot of the exam questions in the 101 Program Units exam to be more on concept rather than simply identifying the line of incorrect code, which there is a lot of on the Intro exam.

Get a good book and some study guides to pass your exam.

| To get the book u can go to www.bookpool.com. They have technical books at a cheaper price. There are other sources to get the book too. Try ebay if u like the auction scenerio. |
