I went to Manpower, bad experience. They expect a computer related degree if you are an OCP. No degree. Very annoying... Manpower is an option of last resort, not of first resort.

Guys with 4 year degrees don't need Manpower. Guys with 4 year degrees don't need certs.

I have misc. verifiable experience (IT and non-IT) and some not-verifiable experience (company went bankrupt). Non-verifiable experience is a problem.

I don't like the standard procedure, dice/computerjobs/yahoo/monster etc. sending tons of resumes via email and via snail mail... and I'm tired of crappy 3mo/6mo networking jobs. I want a database-related job (sqlserver, db2, sybase, informix, or oracle... of course oracle is #1)... so I tried Manpower.

VB, Delphi, Powerbuilder, Developer 6i, ASP, PHP4, Perl,... or DBA of course.

I would like to hear your experience with Manpower/database_job.

Jim
