Passed the last in the 8i DBA track today and just wanted to say thanks to anyone who helped me with any questions or advice.

I passed them all without failing oen which makes me very happy. If its any use to anyone I used the SYBEX DBA kit and some CBTs to study. Then used STS to practice on until the exam.

In my opinion the backup and recovery exam was one of the hardest but I generaly think they get easier as you go along as you pick up general Oracle knowledge along the way.

Good luck to anyone else taking it.

Congrads on passing. Sybex, was the book you used. that's good. Some people amazing enough say that SYBEX is known to have a few errors in their writings

Have you seen the ILTs for the DBA exam? How are they compared to the SYBEX book and the CBTs...

Congratulations, Ian_J!!

I had the same experience: B & R was the hardest exam, followed by A & A, then P & T, then Networking - the easiest was PL/SQL !
